Website
This website is hosted through Cloudflare and release files are delivered by GitHub. Standard technical request data may be processed by those providers to serve and secure the site. FrostWalker uses no advertising trackers and sets no analytics cookies.
To understand which pages are useful and whether visitors download the launcher, the site records page views and installer downloads, the referring website's domain, broad device, operating system and browser categories, and coarse country and region information supplied by Cloudflare. It never stores the full IP address, full referrer URL, advertising IDs or form content. A pseudonymous visitor identifier is created with a secret one-way hash from a shortened network address and browser signature. Detailed events are kept for up to 400 days; lifetime totals remain aggregated. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this collection.
Desktop client
Preferences, instances and downloaded game content are stored locally. Features you choose can communicate with Microsoft and Minecraft services for account authorization, and with Modrinth to discover or download projects.
Accounts
Microsoft sign-in uses the official device authorization flow. FrostWalker does not ask for or store your Microsoft password.
